When and where is the next program?
We’ll hold the next program in the Washington, DC metro area on June 11-14, 2012.
What is the cost?
The program costs $2400. If you pay in full prior to March 16, 2012, we offer a $400 discount.
What is the deposit and when is it due?
A $350 deposit via the PayPal link is due with your registration.
When is the final payment due?
April 13, 2012.
What are the cancellation and substitution policies?
All substitutions and cancellations must be received in writing (which can simply be an email to this website).
Substitutions can be made at any time at no charge.
Before April 13, 2012, you will receive a 100% refund of your program fee.
After April 13, 2012, we will refund 50% of your program fee.
After COB May 11, 2012, you will be charged the full program fee.
What about late registration?
This program fills up quickly. Email or call us to find out if we can accept you in this session. If there’s space, the full fee is due with your registration.
How long is the certification program?
The program lasts four very full days. You won’t want to schedule any social events on the evenings of the first three days.
What is the schedule?
We start every morning with a continental breakfast at 8am, and we begin promptly at 8:30am. The day ends at 4:30pm.
Who can become certified?
The program is open to internal and independent facilitators, trainers, people who lead meetings or retreats, consultants, and HR specialists. It is helpful, but not mandatory, to have had some previous facilitation experience.
Could you offer a Creative Facilitation Certification Program for my organization?
Yes. If there are eight or more trainees from the same organization, we can arrange a custom Creative Facilitation Certification Program for you.
What is included in the price of the program?
• All course materials, including a signed copy of Retreats That Work
• Continental breakfast
• Snacks and drinks
• Lunch
(Accommodations, transportation and dinners are the responsibility of participants.)
What is the dress code?
Very casual. Choose clothes in which you are comfortable moving around.
Should I bring my laptop?
Laptop or tablets are welcome in the classroom, but they’re certainly not mandatory. There is free wifi in the session room, although you should plan to check emails, etc. only at breaks.
I’m coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
We’ll provide a list of conveniently located hotels once you register.
I’m coming from out of town. Which airport should I use?
The venue we will use is 7 miles from Reagan National Airport, 21 miles from Dulles, and 40 miles from BWI.
